Premam movie review. No, just sharing the experience!

Premam is a 2015 Malayalam romantic comedy-drama film written, edited, and directed by Alphonse. The film stars Nivin Pauly , Madonna Sebastian, Sai Pallavi, and Anupama Parameshwaran in the lead roles along with a supporting cast consisting of Shabareesh Varma, Krishna Shankar, Vinay Forrt, Soubin Sahir and Bonikuttan. Rajesh Murugesan composed the music and background score. The cinematography was handled by Anand C. Chandran.

No words to praise this movie Premam, it is already a blockbuster in Kerala and running successfully in Tamil Nadu. One of my movie buff friend recommended Premam and I was informed that Premam was created by Neram movie crew/team. After trying for more than couple of weeks finally I got to see Premam this weekend.

Aluva Puzha

First before watching the movie I fell in love totally with the songs (videos), in fact being a non malayalam speaking person I recorded singing Aluva Puzha song, but that is a different tragedy story. Premam is about a guy and the love (Premam) encounters that he comes across in his life. Premam reminded more of the not so old (kind of recent) Tamil movie “Attakathi” and some parts of classic movie “Autograph”, but the experience is totally awesome. I enjoyed each and every characters and their dialogues, which kept me indulged throughout the movie.

Everything about this movie is splendid, starting from the Cinematography (That butterflies, lovely scenes of the hills during winter, raining over the lake, etc…), anyone would agree that the landscapes in Kerala is the most interesting thing in south India. Some people say camera is used just like another character in the movie, I found the real meaning of it today after watching Permam. Similarly the music, be it the comical scenes, mass slow motion scenes, love themes, sad emotions etc… you will feel the presence of the music all along the movie.

Coming to the acting, George(Nivin), Shabareesh Varma(Shambu) and krishna shankar(Koya) these three characters take us to George’s life journey. I can point out each and every characters and explain them, because none of the characters were not added as atmosphere, everyone had their part and made impression. About the female leads, Anupama Parameshwaran (A +12 student in Aluva) will make you vulnerable and drive you crazy, Sai Pallavi plays Malar (A guest lecturer during George’s college life), brings back my school days and my Computer teacher (lol…). Malar’s role made a great impact, I hope most of the audience felt the same, especially her voice is so lethal, I don’t know if she dubbed her voice or somebody lend their voice (Edit: Now I know it was her own voice). Madonna Sebastian character was not much powerful, probably my heart was just stuck at Malar(Sai Pallavi, the raw beauty), even the protagonist George was ready to move on with his life.

Pathivaayi Njan

The plot twist at the end was unexpected and kind of reminded the Tamil movie “Mounam Pesiyadhe”. Dialogues, editing and screenplay are picture perfect which keeps you focused and interesting.

After a long time this movie has created a great (no words to explain that feeling here). I could talk and talk about the movie Premam for weeks, but first let me enjoy the feeling that I got from the movie for a while. Do go and watch the movie and it will definitely not disappoint you.

Can’t rate Premam, because it is just simply awesome movie.

Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X)

I love this anime back when I was in high school, yesterday I watched the featured film and it was nice.
I still don’t know why kenshin talks different like for example:
1. You will put her down gently, you will.
2. Miss karu, I am sure that your father didn’t not want to protect his teaching if it meant loosing your life, that he did not.
