Amarakaviyam Movie review

Best of its kind. When tamil cinema has already started stepping towards giving new and excellent movies in latest time, this movie is pretty ordinary and same love story that has prevailed in the tamil movie industry probably from 1980’s, but I can assure you that this movie can bring back some sore/happy memories for some people who might cherish this movie.
Most of the people will hate this movie, because they must have been the biggest losers during their early life, if you know what I mean.
Simple love story of Jeeva (Sathya) and Karthika (Mia George AKA Gimi George), portrayed very well with a good screenplay and dialogues by director Jeeva Shankar should be appreciated, I guess most of them are taken from his real life incidents. Sathya played a very subtle role but very powerful and carried the movie through out. Mia George, nobody could have done this role except for her, she will win our hearts just not by the looks but mostly by her acting, especially the happy and cheerful face during the first half.
Cinematography done by again Jeeva Shankar is much appreciated.
Gibran is 50% of the movie, his music brings life to protagonist.

Baseline: Amarakaviyam will bring back memories of your first love. “அமரர்களுக்கு மட்டும் விழங்கும் அமரகாவியம்!”

Some dialogues from the movie.

Jeeva:

Karthika:
Jeeva: I love you (Jeeva smiles)

Jeeva: (Closes the door)
Karthika:
Jeeva: mhhmmh (Shakes his head left to right)
(Opens the door slightly)
Jeeva: Mhh (laughs off)
Karthika: (Smiles and fasten towards Jeeva and land a surprise kiss on Jeeva’s cheek.)

Watch for two songs from the movie which are most attractive when compared to others.

1. Saridhaana Saridhaana

2. Mounam Paesum

Rating: 4.5/5. If You are in love? You had a love? Are you thinking of loving? You want to love? Are you being loved by someone? Just go and watch the movie!

Donate to Save the Children’s Syria appeal now by downloading Ellie Goulding – I Know You Care #song4syria at http://ell.li/STCyt

The civil war in Syria is now in its third year. Nearly 7,000 children have died during the conflict, more than 2 million children within Syria have been forced to leave their homes and another million children have fled the country altogether. Many are traumatised, hungry, in urgent need of shelter and protection. Children are, once again, the innocent victims of war.

Save the Children is working inside Syria and neighbouring countries to ensure that Syria’s children get the food, medicines and protection they need. To donate to the Syria appeal and for more information please visit http://www.savethechildren.org.uk/abo…

Elton John – Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word

Music video by Blue Featuring Elton John performing Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word.

“Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word”

(Sorry seems to be the hardest word)

What I got to do to make you love me?
What I got to do to make you care?
What do I do when lightning strikes me?
And I wake to find that you’re not there?

What I got to do to make you want me?
What I got to do to be heard?
What do I say when it’s all over?
Sorry seems to be the hardest word.

It’s sad, so sad
It’s a sad, sad situation.
And it’s getting more and more absurd.
It’s sad, so sad
Why can’t we talk it over?
Oh it seems to me
That sorry seems to be the hardest word.

What do I do to make you want me?
What I got to do to be heard?
What do I say when it’s all over?
Sorry seems to be the hardest word.

It’s sad, so sad
It’s a sad, sad situation.
And it’s getting more and more absurd.
It’s sad, so sad
Why can’t we talk it over?
Oh it seems to me
That sorry seems to be the hardest word.

Yeh. Sorry

What I got to do to make you love me?
What I got to do to be heard?
What do I do when lightning strikes me?
What have I got to do?
What have I got to do?
When sorry seems to be the hardest word.

Naan Yen/நான் ஏன் – A.R Rahman, Rayhanah – Coke Studio @ MTV Season 3

One of the most melodic masterpieces from A.R Rahman’s set this year on Coke Studio@MTV — Season 3. This one is sung by him along with his sister Rayhanah. It explores an interesting lyrical theme of existentialism, where man wonders why he was born and what role he is expected to fulfill through life.
